when i was 15 and had extremely basic french i started gettin into ob and evelyne and i would watch her interviews in french but i couldnt understand shit, so i made it my goal to really knuckle down and put all my effort into french in school and it eventually led to me falling in love with the language, enough to make me wanna devote my degree to it. so here we are, 5 years on, i’m graduating with a BA International in french & italian next year, i’m on exchange in montreal, i’ve met the woman who encouraged me to do all of this, and i can finally understand her interviews. i hope 15 yr old me is proud wherever she is
